Technical Project Manager - Cybersecurity Science & Analytics (CSA)

Our mission is to harness the power of data, analytics, AI/ML, and cybersecurity science to innovate and enhance cybersecurity capabilities.

As a Technical Project Manager , you will be part of CSA s Advanced Projects team, working alongside global cybersecurity specialists, data scientists, and software engineers. This mid-senior role requires expertise in product management within areas such as data engineering, data science, advanced analytics, research and development, or innovation. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in one or more cybersecurity sciences, including:

• Network, endpoint, and cloud security
• Cryptography
• Malware analysis
• Vulnerability assessment
• Privileged access management
• Anomaly/intrusion detection
• Incident response
• Offensive security

You will be responsible for delivering value to our clients by managing the team product backlog, working within an Agile Scrum team , and understanding the roles, needs, and challenges of internal customers. Your role is to identify how creative analytics products can help them achieve their goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical project management background, a willingness to learn, a keen interest in cybersecurity, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment. They should also be eager to adopt new tools and techniques on the job, building on existing skill sets as a foundation.

Principal Accountabilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects using the Agile delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with teams to define project scope, objectives, requirements, and timelines .
• Identify, manage, and communicate dependencies and risks affecting project delivery.
• Actively monitor project progress, resolve risks/issues, and escalate as needed.
• Make recommendations to influence decision-making and maintain progress toward delivery and benefits realization.

Required Skills

Project Management

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role within an Agile environment.
• Ability to own and manage the product backlog , ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
• Prioritize backlog items based on client value, strategic goals, and resource availability .
• Clearly communicate backlog items and priorities to the development team .
• Experience in implementing production technology products with an advanced understanding of development team priorities for successful product deployment.

Client Engagement

• Experience in engaging with clients and managing stakeholder relationships .
• Ability to understand clients roles, needs, and pressures to identify opportunities for innovative product solutions.
• Collaborate closely with clients to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories .
• Act as the voice of the client within the Agile Scrum team, ensuring products meet expectations.

Agile Scrum Team Collaboration

• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and product management principles .
• Ability to translate client needs into actionable user stories and product requirements .
• Collaborate with the Scrum team to develop and deliver high-quality products .
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies , including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the development team understands the product vision and goals .
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Cybersecurity Sciences

• Knowledge of technical software or experience working with software engineering technologies and principles .
• Understanding of the cybersecurity threat and risk management landscape , including evolving international regulations, policies, frameworks, and organizational cyber control responses.
• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) in security applications .
