Lead Linux Administrator/Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Linux administration, engineering, or architecture.

• Expertise in RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or SUSE Linux distributions.

• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl for automation and system tasks.

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform).

• Solid understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing in Linux environments.

• Advanced knowledge of Linux security hardening, SELinux, and vulnerability management.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration in Linux environments.

• Experience managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Linux-based cloud solutions.

• Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB) in Linux environments.

• Familiarity with BFSI-specific regulatory requirements and their impact on Linux system design.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
