Senior Data Engineer with GCP

Over 10 years of experience, 2+ years in the Lead Data Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role, and 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform technology stack

Strong experience of GCP services, including BigQuery, BigTable, Dataflow, Dataprep, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL and Composer

Skilled in Python or Java.

Good understanding of Data modeling and architecture, Data warehousing, ETL tools and best practices, Database design and optimization

Proficiency in Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Bigtable, Firestore, MongoDB, Cassandra etc.)

Familiarity with Data security principles and best practices

Knowledge of IaC (Terraform, Ansible), Test automation.

Knowledge on Observability tools such as GCP Clouds operations suite, ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus etc.

GCP Professional Data Engineer certification is highly desired.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Strong abilities in communication and collaboration.
