Lead I - Software Engineering

Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions account for others developmental activities

Outcomes:

1. Interpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
2. Code debug test document and communicate product/component/feature development stages.

  Good knowledge in Product Installations and upgrades of IBM DB2 ESE (V11. 1 & V11. 5) on Linux/Ubuntu. Good knowledge of HADR configurations and working experience with HADR production issues. Should have knowledge of DB regular maintenance activities like (reorg, runstats , export , and imports/load) Should have working knowledge in handling DB health check s in a proactive manner. Should have working knowledge in backup configuration (Preferred knowledge on Commvault) and Restore activities between multiple environments for point in time recovery. Good knowledge of shell scripting to understand and enhance existing scheduled jobs. Good knowledge of handling production issues for slowness, CPU spikes & any DB object issues. Good knowledge of DB objects creation and configurations and space management
