Assistant Manager - Provisions + 1120 (US Tax)

Provision Focus
Review/prepare annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740.
Review quarterly/forecasted global tax provision and effective tax rate calculations in accordance with ASC 740.
Assist with other provision projects including ASC 740-10 (FIN 48) and ASC 718 (FAS123R) calculations, NOL and VA analysis, and cash tax paid disclosures.
Compliance Focus
Review Corporate federal and state income tax calculations including depreciation, disclosures, eliminations, apportionment, estimated/extension tax payments, E&P, and tax basis.
Review federal and state tax forms including Forms 1120, 1118, 5471, and 8858s for technical accuracy and completeness.
Manage compliance and processes for federal, state, and local tax law including income, franchise, gross receipts, property, tax fixed assets and/or sales and use taxes to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
Conduct tax research and keep up to date with tax changes and industry trends by reading publications

Attention to detail - Ensure accuracy in all tax-related documents and reports
Analytical Thinking - Analyze financial documents and reports to identify tax-saving opportunities
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and coaching abilities.
Worked on US Global tax provisions (ASC 740) with complex situations and worked on special Projects.
Good knowledge of Tax software (Go-System, OneSource Income Tax, CCH Axcess, CaseWare & Bloomberg)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office

Qualification: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in US Corporate taxation(Provision & Compliance)
