Key Responsibilities:
1. Statutory & Safety Compliance:
- To ensure compliance all statutory compliance & Returns, registers applicable to unit which include preparations of documentations file requires to be submitted to Govt. Departments.
- Liaison with various government authorities like Labor officer, ESIC, PF, DISH etc. to maintain smooth IR relations.
- Assist works Head Internal & External Communication
- Compliances, Leave & attendance, other transactions etc.
- To help EHS office to conduct Mock drills and to drive safety initiatives in the plant.
- To check effectiveness of onsite /offsite emergency plan along with EHS Officer
2. Unit Deliverables :
- Responsible for 5S and BBS drives at Unit
- Responsible for Administration Activities like, Transport, Canteen and Travel arrangement etc.
- Responsible for the housekeeping management: - Monitor and ensure proper housekeeping of plant premises
- Responsible for overall function of OHC at Vapi1806. Supervision for Medical team visits to JW daily/weekly basis. Health awareness sessions, co-ordination with PIL and JW units for OHC related matters, RAT Test scheduling.
- In charge of Management of contract Labour ensuring the compliance of the statutes / Labour laws, tracking of manpower cost.
- Maintaining employee discipline at unit.
- Maintaining ISO, OSHAS, all the categories of Audit preparation and compliance.
3. People Related:
- Facilitating recruitment within the agreed timelines right from SOV approval to appointment letter insurance. Custodian of the recruitment process of non-field employee Hiring locations till Grade 100 from unit. Issue of Offer /letters & Ensure completions of Appointment docs to HO.
- Employee Engagement initiatives: Open House / Events, implementing the engagement Initiatives driven from HO.
- Execute Employee exit process from unit, conduct exit interviews and provide documents / feedback to Corporate HR.
- People Connect (HR health of the location)
- Interact with employees at regular periodicity, understand & record concerns and drive them to closure. Highlight concerns and potential issues in the zone/region to the works Head or Cluster Chief.
- Drive Open House in unit
- Provide feedback received from employees relating to operational difficulties requiring policy change etc.
- Employee engagement program within unit
- Regularly take employee feedback and work on the suggestions/improvement areas identified to works head.
Functional Interfaces:
Internal: Unit Head, HRBP & Other Stake holders
External: Government Authorities for eg. Labour Officer, ESIC, PF DISH etc.
Professional Experience:
Professional Experience/Skills:
- Min 4 to 6 years of similar industry experience.
- Experience of working in Factory Compliance
- Previous experience of working in HRBP role
- Handling employee strength of Approx. 100+
Qualification: Desired: Graduate & MBA
