Job Title: Business Development Manager / Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Gurugram (WFO)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager or Senior Business Development Manager to lead end-to-end sales processes and drive new business growth for Pidge. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the SaaS industry, with a preference for those with a background in supply chain or logistics. This role requires a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in business development or sales and is not open to freshers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Sales Management:

  • Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and post-sale account handover.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive revenue growth and expand Pidges market share within target sectors.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Building:

  • Identify and target potential clients in key industries (e.g., retail, FMCG, e-commerce) to expand Pidge's customer base.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders to understand their needs and position Pidge as a trusted logistics and SaaS partner.

3. Market Research & Insights:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and client pain points.
  • Provide insights and feedback to cross-functional teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of Pidge's products and services.

4. Proposal & Contract Negotiation:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pricing strategies tailored to each client's needs.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close agreements to maximize customer satisfaction and drive profitability.

5. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Partner closely with Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and transition of new clients.
  • Contribute to process improvements that optimize the sales cycle and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4-5+ years in business development or sales, preferably within the SaaS, supply chain, or logistics industries.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SaaS solutions and/or logistics processes.
  • Proven ability to close high-value deals and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate client needs into actionable insights.
