Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to drive strategic procurement initiatives, leading sourcing activities, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze sales data, trends, and forecasts to develop accurate demand plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adjust procurement strategies based on evolving demand.
2. Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained at stores by monitoring inventory levels, and balance demand fluctuations with procurement timelines.
3. Identify brands and vendors that align with our product needs, quality standards, and business objectives.
4. Source and procure products from these brands and vendors, ensuring alignment with our store requirements and demand forecasts. This requires alignment at a hyperlocal level with brands which is a first in an ecommerce set up.
5. Ensure that the brands and vendors align with store-specific needs and collaborate on deliveries, product availability, and service levels.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with brands and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring pricing efficiency, quality, and delivery standards.
