Catalogue Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree with expertise in Excel on large data sets, a solid understanding of e-commerce business dynamics, and preferably prior experience working on catalogues.

Responsibilities:

• Build and Maintain Catalogue Repository: Develop and maintain a comprehensive repository of items with complete catalogue information to enhance customer experience and facilitate efficient product search and discovery.
• Catalogue Attribute Identification: Utilize image recognition technology and manual review to identify and extract catalogue attributes from product images, ensuring accurate and detailed product listings.
• Catalogue Information Validation: Conduct thorough research on the internet to validate and verify catalogue information, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all product listings.
• Collaboration with Product Brands: Liaise with product brands to source and acquire catalogue data in the prescribed format, establishing effective communication channels to streamline the collection process.
• Catalogue Data Management: Regularly update catalogue information, including prices, images, taxonomy, and other product attributes, to reflect the latest changes and ensure relevance and reliability.
• Feedback Collection and Integration: Collect feedback on catalogue accuracy and completeness from various sources, including customer tickets, product page escalations, and input from the sales team. Incorporate feedback to improve and update existing product catalogue as needed.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or graduate degree in a relevant field, with a strong emphasis on data management, information technology, or business administration.
• Proficiency in Excel: Demonstrated expertise in Excel, particularly in handling and analyzing large datasets, performing data manipulation, and generating reports to support catalogue management activities.
• E-commerce Knowledge: Sound understanding of e-commerce business operations, including product management, catalogue optimization, and customer experience enhancement, to effectively contribute to catalogue development initiatives.
• Catalogue Creation Experience: Prior experience working on catalogue creation and audit processes within an e-commerce or retail environment is desirable, with a demonstrated ability to maintain catalogue accuracy and quality standards.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in catalogue data management, with the ability to meticulously review and validate product information to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and product brands to facilitate catalogue data collection and updates.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve catalogue-related issues, address feedback and escalations, and implement solutions to improve catalogue quality and usability.
