Role & responsibilities

Role: Senior Manager Mutual Funds & Retail Products.

Company: PhillipCapital India

Department: Mutual Funds and Third Party product distribution.

Location: Mumbai

Qualification: Graduate/Post graduate in commerce, management or related disciplines.

Experience: 2 to 5 years of work in any financial entity.

Purpose:

The Incumbent shall be responsible for developing business for the company within the realm

of mutual funds and developing and strengthening various retail channels.

Detailed job description:

1) Driving MF Products

• The incumbent shall be responsible for handling and acquiring HNI/Retail customers.
• The incumbent shall also facilitate wide-ranging reviews of their managed client
• portfolios.
• Interact with clients to assess strategies based on objectives and their risk profile
• Responsible to manage existing set of clients and channel partners and help drive
• business from allotted.
• Responsible for building AUM in a personal capacity as per pre-defined company
• benchmarks.
• Manage relations with AMC partners and internal teams.

2) Cross selling

• Cross Sell products like Corporate Deposits, Insurance, Bonds, Equity Advisory and PMS to select clients.
• Responsible for meeting cross sales targets for the year.

3) General

• Ensuring high quality service to clients and keeping the interest of the client first.
• To ensure client and partners comply with rules set by SEBI/AMFI across domains.

Skills Required:

1) A wide understanding of products being offered and good understanding of AMC

operation process is must.

2) Need to understand the broader strokes of market.

3) Ability to communicate well and have a high level of confidence.

4) Good business sense and passing understanding of all financial products.

5) Should be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and should be extremely well versed in MS

Excel.

6) Sound technical knowledge of inner workings of Mutual funds.

7) Should be sound with applications on mobile and internet.
