Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional leadership abilities, and a passion for developing innovative solutions. As an Engineering Manager at Phenom, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance software components and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance and support for professional development and career growth.
• Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with business objectives.
• Technical Oversight: Design and architect business-critical components and services that are scalable, secure, and maintainable. Ensure end-to-end compatibility with DevOps practices, logging, and monitoring systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain high standards of operational excellence, including customer success management, implementation support, and addressing customer needs promptly.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven experience in designing and developing large-scale distributed systems.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in software development, architecture, and design patterns. Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and people management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a team, manage performance, and facilitate professional growth.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the HR technology domain or related industries.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in software development.
