CarDekho - Engineering Manager - MERN Stack Technologies (8-14 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Elastic, React, Node.js) and MySQL, as well as deep knowledge of AWS technologies and modern software architecture. You will drive the team towards solving complex technical challenges, mentoring developers, and ensuring smooth project execution.

Responsibilities :

- To lead a technical team for the smooth delivery of features and to contribute to solving complex engineering problems

- Should have hands-on experience over the years on MERN stack (MongoDB, Elastic, React, NodeJS), and MySQL databases

- Should have the knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS technologies

- Should have hands-on knowledge and experience, with unit testing frameworks

- Should have sound knowledge of architecture and the right design patterns

- Should be willing to take end-to-end ownership of projects.

- Should have in-depth knowledge of javascript

- Lead the development of the distributed architecture and highly scalable technology systems to solve complex customer and business problems

- Manage Learning and development of team members. Work on upskilling the team.

- Driven for action with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines

- Deliver technology applications for key technology initiatives

- Drive prioritization of product development goals and milestones

- Deliver, in a fast-paced development process, extremely reliable and high-quality technical solutions to solve product problems

- Cloud & CI/CD : Strong knowledge of AWS or GCP, and experience in CI/CD development and deployment practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in software development with expertise in Node.js, React.js, and MySQL.

- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, leading high-performance development teams.

- Strong understanding of full-stack development (backend and frontend).

- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, API development, and cloud services.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a passion for delivering robust, scalable solutions.

- Education: BTech (Computer Science)
