Project Coordinator

Job Summary

The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and executing projects. This role involves coordinating with team members, monitoring project progress, maintaining documentation, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist the project manager in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements and project plans.
• Coordinate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timelines are met also Supervise the project procurement process.
• Assign tasks to team members and help them understand whats expected from them in terms of project milestones and deliverables.
• Help project managers monitor project progress and team members performance and provide updates to the clients & the director.
• Support team members in resolving issues and removing obstacles.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and project requirements.
• Assist in managing client relationships and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Prepare status updates of the projects for senior management and ensure all project documentation is organized and accessible.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3 to 6+ years experience.
• Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under tight deadlines.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelors degree in business administration (BBA, BCA), Project Management, Engineering (BE, BTech) or a related field (preferred).
• BBA, BCA, BE, BTech.
• Certification in Project Management is a plus.
• Engineering Design Consultancy Experience is a plus.
