Job Role Assistant Pharmacist and Pharmacist with Registration State (Punjab)

Qualification and Experience D. Pharma/ B. Pharma registered with state pharmacy council and licensed to dispense drugs

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately as per the physicians prescription.
• Provide medication counseling to patients, explaining dosage, side effects, and interactions.
• Review prescriptions for completeness and accuracy, ensuring no errors in drug selection or dosage.
• Ensure that all medications are stored, labeled, and handled according to regulatory guidelines. Advise healthcare providers on medication therapy management, drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Monitor patient outcomes, and provide ongoing support and advice to improve treatment adherence.
• Maintain an inventory of medications and manage stock levels to ensure the availability of essential drugs.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff to ensure high standards of practice.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, ensuring the pharmacy operates within legal and ethical standards.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in pharmacology and medical practices.
• Provide immunization services where applicable.
