Job Description

The Training & Development & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) person is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of employee training programs and organizational development initiatives, as well as leading the company's corporate social responsibility strategies. This role combines elements of employee development, leadership coaching, and social impact initiatives aimed at improving business performance and contributing to society.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training & Development:

  • Design and Implement Training Programs: Develop and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills, improve job performance, and support organizational goals. Topics include leadership development, technical skills, soft skills, compliance, and more.
  • Learning Needs Assessment: Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with department heads to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Employee Development Plans: Create individualized development plans for employees based on career goals and organizational needs.
  • Training Delivery and Evaluation: Deliver engaging training sessions and workshops (in-person and virtual) and evaluate their effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS): Manage and utilize the Learning Management System for tracking employee progress and ensuring compliance with training requirements.
  • Leadership Development: Build and implement leadership programs aimed at developing the next generation of leaders within the organization.

2. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):

  • CSR Strategy Development: Develop and implement CSR strategies that align with the companys values, mission, and goals, focusing on environmental sustainability, community engagement, and ethical business practices.
  • Community Engagement: Plan and execute community outreach programs and initiatives that involve employees in giving back through volunteering, donations, or partnerships with local organizations.
  • CSR Reporting and Metrics: Track and report on CSR performance, ensuring transparency and accountability through regular reporting to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Promote and integrate sustainability practices across the organization, focusing on reducing environmental impact and improving corporate practices.
  • Brand Image: Enhance the companys brand reputation by promoting its CSR efforts both internally and externally, including through social media, annual reports, and other communications channels.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaboration with HR: Work closely with the HR department to ensure that training and development programs are integrated into performance management systems and career advancement plans.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with other departments to understand training needs, CSR opportunities, and how best to implement and communicate programs to employees and the community.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget for training, development, and CSR initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with overall business objectives.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field. A Master’s degree or certifications in training, development, or CSR is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development,
    • Proven experience in managing CSR programs and initiatives.
    • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
    • Experience with employee engagement strategies and learning management systems.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives.
    • Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to assess and improve training programs and CSR initiatives.
    • Passion for corporate social responsibility and sustainability efforts.
