Position: Colleague Communications & Engagement - Consultant (On Contract)

Location: Mumbai

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Communication Strategy:

• Develop the Pfizer India Colleague Communications and Engagement Strategy - utilizing all available internal communication channels and tools
• Develop a comprehensive annual colleague communication plan with short-, mid- and long-term initiatives
• Lead an internal and/or external cross-functional team to implement the colleague communication plans and activities
• Understand local market needs and plan to introduce new innovative tools / mediums that will help Pfizer India achieve its communication/change outcome goals
• Be a strategic advisor to the Country President and the Leadership Team to determine the brand narrative for Pfizer India

- Colleague Communications:

• Strategic planning for creation, editing, designing, and publishing all colleague communications/ publications including communication emails, posters, AVs, newsletters, townhalls, etc.
• Manage colleague communications outcomes and execute steps within defined time frames
• Plan, design and implement internal branding and brand building initiatives. Also coordinate BU specific campaigns and initiatives directed at the extended Pfizer India workforce
• Refine core messaging to ensure organizational consistency in all aspects of communication, ensure consistent framing of messages
• Support and leverage global communication initiatives
• Implement Global communication events
• Manage the Employee Value Proposition for Pfizer India
• Co-ordinate for site-specific global events like safety week, milestone celebrations, and other related activities
• Support designing and implementation of Employee Engagement activities
• Closely work with the marketing teams from different BUs for business events like product launches, POAs, etc.
• Suggest suitable channels of communication for each message
• Determine the content of the communications and set timing of release to coordinate with company events or initiatives
• Support ideas with research and experience
• Measure and present results of communication efforts

- Leader Communication:

• Strategize and create content for the Country Presidents communication calendar
• Advise the Country President and the Leadership Team on communication strategy and change management for Pfizer India
• Create all communications used by internal leaders (MD, Business and Function leads, visiting global leads etc.) to communicate key messages consistently with the organization.

- Business POA Communication:

India is a largely commercial organization and hence multiple modes of communication need to be deployed to ensure adequate an appropriate messaging. For Business POAs the Colleague Communications colleague will be responsible to advise on the design and delivery of suitable key messages based on Business and Team priorities.

Change management:

• Partner with People Experience Team and country Leadership Team to prepare a strategy for change management
• Introduce new innovative channels and mediums to ensure a better understanding of key messages across all Pfizer India colleagues

- Intranet & Yammer:

• Responsible for end-to-end intranet management and maintenance of Pfizer India Yammer page
• Ensure regular content - including stories, business updates and interactive sections of the intranet & Yammer
• Ensure periodic update of design elements and new features on the intranet & Yammer
• Closely working with the Global organization to cross utilize India and Global content
