Bike Rider

We are seeking a Bike Rider / Dog Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and should be a team player. As a Bike Rider and Dog Handler for Tailsway, you play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and compassionate veterinary care is delivered to pets in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities:

1. Transportation: Safely transport the vet doctor to scheduled home visits using a provided company bike. Ensure timely arrival at each client's residence to maintain the schedule.
2. Pet Handling: Handle dogs and other pets with care, providing a calm and reassuring presence. Safely secure pets during transportation and veterinary procedures.
3. Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, confirming appointments and addressing any specific concerns or instructions. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, reflecting the company's commitment to exceptional customer service.
4. Assistance during Vet Procedures: Assist the vet doctor during examinations, treatments, and other procedures as required. Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available for the vet.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of each home visit, including details of the pet's condition, treatments administered, and any recommendations from the vet.
6. Adherence to Policies: Follow company policies and protocols related to pet handling, safety, and hygiene. Uphold the company's commitment to animal welfare and ethical veterinary practices.
7. Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to handle emergencies, including knowledge of basic first aid for pets and immediate communication with the vet doctor.

Requirements:

1. Valid motorcycle license and a clean driving record.
2. Experience in handling and caring for animals, particularly dogs.
3. Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with vet doctors and other team members.
5. Understanding of basic veterinary procedures is a plus.
