Role & responsibilities

Job Description

Designation / Position Title: Pipeline Supervisor

Educational: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / ITI/ BE

Experience: 2 - 4 Years

Required Skill Sets:

• Carry out piping and pipeline installation project. Assisting with various fabrication and erection contractors and working closely with Construction Engineer
• Coordinate maintenance crew & equipment to ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
• Ensuring suitable deployment of manpower & timely availability of manpower and Equipments / materials to ensure timely execution of the projects.
• Good Knowledge of reading Pipeline Drawings, Isometric, P&ID and GA drawings.
• Monitoring of Hydro Test activities of pipeline / Piping.
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of pipeline.
• Stage Inspection in fabrication of Pipe Spools like, Weld-edge preparation, fit[1]up, Weld Inspection.
• Execution of all types of pipeline activities such as weld visual, NDT and coating.
• Manpower and re-Sources allotment based on job requirements.
• Having Basic Knowledge of Electrical, civil, Instrumentation etc.
• Should be able to understand the project/asset specifications, quality
• requirements applicable to project/plant scope of work and as per Oil & Gas
• Industry standards, specifications, Codes, and QMS.
• Conduct field inspection to assess pipeline conditions, identify defects & recommend maintenance action plan.
• Execution of all type of Pipeline activities.
• Ensures all procedures & SOP are followed.

Working Terms:

• Workdays & Hours – Seven Days Working (Monday to Sunday – 8:30AM to 6:30PM)
• As per the Nigeria labor law, we have a limited quota for expats.
• As we are a multi-company group, we have a limited expat quota available on each company, basis that wherever the quota is available, we issue the appointment letter to the candidate on behalf of that company.
• The first salary will be released after 60 Days followed by the salary cycle (Ex: If you join in April, you will get first month salary in June then after that every month you will get regularly)
