Piping Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Design and Planning: Prepare and review plumbing and piping system designs, ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.

2. System Layout: Develop and coordinate plumbing and piping system layouts, including pipe sizing, material selection, and routing.

3. Calculation and Analysis: Perform hydraulic calculations, pressure drop calculations, and other analyses to ensure system efficiency and safety.

4. Material Specification: Specify and procure plumbing and piping materials, including pipes, fittings, valves, and other equipment.

5. Installation Supervision: Oversee the installation of plumbing and piping systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

6. Testing and Commissioning: Conduct testing and commissioning of plumbing and piping systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.

7. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve plumbing and piping system issues, including leaks, blockages, and other problems.

8. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
