HR Generalist

Position Overview:

PET Like That Solutions LLP is seeking a motivated and skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Mumbai. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labour laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR processes, and a proactive approach to employee management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate selection.
• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.

2. Employee Relations:

• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and workplace issues.
• Support the resolution of employee relations issues, including conflict management and disciplinary actions.

3. Performance Management:

• Assist in the performance review process by coordinating evaluations, tracking progress, and providing support to managers in giving constructive feedback.
• Help develop strategies for employee development, recognition, and engagement.

4. Training & Development:

• Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
• Support career development initiatives and ensure employees have the resources to grow within the organization.

5. Compliance & Policy Administration:

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labour laws and regulations.
• Administer and update employee policies, ensuring they align with organizational goals and legal requirements.

6. Payroll & Benefits Administration:

• Assist with the administration of payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide support to employees regarding benefits enrollment, changes, and queries.

7. HR Reporting & Analytics:

• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on HR metrics, such as turnover, hiring trends, and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Any Graduation/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in HR Role
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and reporting skills.
