Hiring for Group IT Internal Auditor with 10+ years of experience for Bangalore location.
Job Description:
Key Accountabilities:
- Independently plan and execute internal audits following the GIA methodology.
- Report audit results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify internal control deficiencies and recommend constructive improvements for efficient and effective operations.
- Support the GIA Roadmap and the risk-based audit planning process.
- Conduct quality assessment reviews and assist the Group Head of Internal Audit in the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) in line with IIA standards.
- Strive for quality and excellence, and encourage others to do the same.
Experienced in IT Governance, Security, and Risk Management, with expertise in frameworks like COBIT, NIST, and ISO 27001 for evaluating IT controls and processes.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Solid understanding of application security, with a focus on access management and security controls.
- Proven experience auditing cloud systems and applications, with expertise in identifying and assessing risks and controls specific to cloud environments.
- Proficient in using data analytics tools to detect patterns, anomalies, and potential risks within IT systems.
- Skilled in managing complex IT audit projects, including their planning, execution, and reporting.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Qualified CA with 10+ years post CA.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Previous experience in internal auditing or related fields, preferably in a global commodities or financial environment.
- Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and audit methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to report findings in a clear and constructive manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
