Job Description
- Handle accounting tasks such as invoice management, journal entries, month-end closing processes (prepaid, accruals, etc.), and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Calculate foreign exchange (Forex) gains and losses.
- Maintain proper documentation, including invoices, filing, bank reconciliations, notices, and meeting minutes.
- Knowledgeable in TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), initiate payments, and manage return filings.
- Proficient in GST, including monthly and annual return filing, ITC refund processing, and comfortable with visits to GST offices at various locations.
- Conduct FAR (Fixed Asset Register) checks, depreciation calculations, and generate related reports.
- Manage and initiate payments for AP (Accounts Payable), PF (Provident Fund), PT (Professional Tax), LWF (Labour Welfare Fund), and Income Tax.
- Familiar with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.
- Capable of addressing Big4 audit-related queries, preparing financial statements, verifying items, and managing ITR (Income Tax Return) data.
- Coordinate with consultants for statutory filings and related work.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and other related tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to train junior staff.
- Qualifications: B.Com, M.Com, or CA Inter.
