This business is responsible for growing the penetration of Paytm’s PA PG business in the Indian merchants.

It offers a wide range of payment options, including UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets, ensuring a smooth and quick checkout experience for customers. The tech stack is built with high availability, low latency, and advanced fraud detection capabilities to maintain trust and security. With cutting-edge APIs and easy integration, Paytm PG empowers merchants to customize and enhance their payment processes. It also provides real-time analytics and insights to help businesses optimize their payment strategies.

About the Role: - The Tech Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing technology compliance, managing audits, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, identifying compliance risks, implementing controls, and continuously monitoring systems to maintain compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices.

Expectations/ Requirements: -

• Audit Management: Lead and manage internal and external IT audits, including preparing, coordinating, and ensuring timely completion of audit activities.
• Compliance Oversight: Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs to ensure that the organization adheres to relevant regulations, standards (e.g., ISO, PCI-DSS, GDPR), and internal policies.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential compliance risks, conduct risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies to address vulnerabilities.
• Policy Development: Establish, review, and update IT compliance policies, procedures, and standards in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Incident Response: Collaborate with security teams to manage compliance-related incidents, including investigations, documentation, and corrective actions.
• Training & Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on compliance requirements, policies, and best practices.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, prepare reports for senior management, and ensure documentation is up-to-date and audit-ready.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve compliance processes, staying updated on new regulations, technological changes, and industry trends.

Qualifications: -

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role: -

• 5+ years of experience in IT compliance, audit management, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and other relevant standards.
• Proven experience in managing technology audits and implementing compliance programs.
• Proficiency in compliance and audit management tools, and familiarity with security practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
