Job Description

Skill required: Payroll - Workday Payroll Accounting

Designation: Payroll Operations Associate

Qualifications:Any Graduation

Years of Experience:1 to 3 years

What would you do?

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Process and validate payroll information

Assist with the administration and processing of payroll activities

Issue Records of employment

Process, compile and submit Garnishments

Respond in a timely manner to colleagues on payroll matters involving both written and verbal communication

Process required profile changes (sick, vacation, hourly rates etc.) in compliance with Employment Standards Acts, Union Agreements, and Company Policies.

In depth understanding of over 400 Union Agreements

Other tasks as assignedPayroll experience into US/UK/InternationalImplement and manage payroll accounting processes and solutions within Workday platforms.

Canadian Payroll experience is good to have

Demonstrated proficiency in MS office products

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment

Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the internal and external customers

Demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential information

Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy

Ability to work flexible hours when required

Team Player

Payroll Planning and Distribution

Roles and Responsibilities:

In this role you are required to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines

Your expected interactions are within your own team and direct supervisor

You will be provided detailed to moderate level of instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments

The decisions that you make would impact your own work

You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team, with a predetermined, focused scope of work

Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
