Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, driven civil engineer with a wealth of industry
knowledge. To ensure success, the ideal candidate should be comfortable splitting their
hours between the offices, on-site visits, and doing administrative work.
Responsibilities:
Preparing and implementing project plans.
Accurately prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including labor,
materials, and equipment costs.
Reviewing government regulations and ordinances.
Perform on-site measurements and surveys to ensure the accurate assessment of
project dimensions and requirements.
Develop and manage comprehensive bills of quantities (BOQ) for various projects,
ensuring that all materials and labor are accounted for.
Review and verify bills of quantities, ensuring accuracy in measurements and
calculations.
Monitor project costs and prepare reports on construction progress, material usage,
and work quality.
Prepare and review detailed plans, layouts, and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
Conduct periodic project valuations, assessing the work completed and determining
payments due to contractors.
Prepare and review tender documents including scope of work, bill of quantities
(BOQ), technical specifications, and contract terms.
Making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.
Site visit and assessment reporting
Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines;
acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.).
Candidates have to travel for managing projects across various locations in India.
Have to handle any other Civil Engineering responsibilities apart from the mentioned
that may arise on the basis of different projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in civil engineering.
A minimum of 1-2 years of industry knowledge and experience may be strongly
desired.
Familiarity with design software, such AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Sketchup.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on
one project.
Ability to coordinate with more than one project at a time.
Should possess basic knowledge related to survey work.
