Job Overview: As an Assistant Chef specializing in Continental cuisine, you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu featuring high-quality pizza, pasta, sandwiches, shakes, and tarts. Your role will involve designing innovative dishes, maintaining consistent quality, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our customers. You will work closely with our culinary team to uphold Parag Milk Foods' commitment to excellence and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a diverse menu of Continental cuisine including pizza, pasta, sandwiches, shakes, and tarts.
• Experiment with new recipes and techniques to keep the menu exciting and relevant.
• Ensure all dishes are made with high-quality ingredients and adhere to Parag Milk Foods standards.
• Prepare and cook dishes to order, ensuring consistency and high-quality presentation.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and effective teamwork.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on techniques and standards.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to ensure availability of ingredients.
• Implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize resource usage.
• Engage with customers to understand their preferences and feedback.
• Adapt menu items based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Ensure a high standard of presentation and flavor for all dishes served.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an asst. Chef in a Continental cuisine setting, with a strong focus on pizza, pasta, sandwiches, shakes, and tarts.
• Demonstrated expertise in recipe development and menu planning.
• Experience in managing a kitchen team and maintaining high culinary standards.
• Excellent knowledge of Continental cooking techniques and ingredient combinations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative flair and a passion for food innovation

Education:

• Culinary arts degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Additional training in food safety and hygiene is an advantage.
