Manager Procurement

Managing procurement activities with a strong focus on shipping and logistics. The role includes sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely deliveries, and managing shipping operations to optimize costs and maintain efficiency. The position also requires close coordination with vendors, freight forwarders, shipping lines and internal teams to meet the organizations supply chain requirements while adhering to quality and compliance standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10-15 yrs of proven experience in procurement, preferably in the fertilizer or chemical manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering & MBA in Supply Chain Management or a related field is plus
• In-depth knowledge of shipping operations, customs regulations, and international trade compliances.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
