Sr . Accountant

• Maintain and update the company s general ledger, ensuring that all entries are accurate and comply with accounting standards.
• Oversee and process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and accurate invoicing to customers.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure all cash and bank transactions are correctly recorded.
• Monitor and record company expenses, ensuring that all transactions are accurately categorized and in line with the company s budget.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Support the preparation of tax returns (GST etc.) and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper documentation and reporting between different divisions or subsidiaries.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits, providing necessary financial documentation and support.
• Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions and maintain organized, accessible records for future reference and audits.
• Adhere to company accounting policies and procedures, ensuring all transactions are in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Skills Qualifications :

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an FMCG or similar fast-paced industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax requirements.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and high organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with numbers in a structured manner.
