- Prepare and analyse financial statements in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
- Generate regular financial reports for management review.

- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and variance analysis.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted figures.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Provide insights into cost control measures and revenue enhancement opportunities.
- Analyse financial trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
- Work with external auditors and tax authorities during audits.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Oversee the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.
- Negotiate terms with vendors and customers to optimize cash flow.
- Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for efficient financial management.
- Stay informed about advancements in financial technology and recommend system upgrades or improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) may be preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
