Position Overview:
As a Junior Export Manager, you will support the export operations of our products, ensuring smooth and efficient international shipments. You will assist in managing relationships with export partners, handle documentation, and contribute to the development of export strategies. Key Responsibilities:
l Export Operations: Assist in managing the day-to-day export activities, including order processing, shipment coordination, and compliance with international trade regulations.
l Documentation: Prepare and review export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
l Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
l Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for international customers and partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
l Market Research: Conduct research on international markets to identify potential opportunities and trends. Assist in developing market entry strategies and expansion plans.
l Compliance: Ensure adherence to export regulations, including customs requirements and product standards. Stay updated on changes in trade policies and regulations.
l Reporting: Assist in preparing reports on export performance, including sales, shipment status, and customer feedback.
l Business Development: Strategically identify and pitch to new customers, fostering relationships that drive growth and expansion in international markets.
Qualifications:
l Education: Bachelors degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
l Experience: 4-5 years of experience in export management, international trade, or a related field, preferably in the FMCG industry. Experience with startups is a plus.
Skills:
l Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
l Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
l Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
l Familiarity with export documentation and international trade regulations.
l Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
l Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
l Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
