Position Overview:
The Gifting Manager will be responsible for developing and executing innovative gifting strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement. You will oversee the creation and management of gift sets, promotional items, and corporate gifting solutions that align with our brand values and target market needs. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong understanding of market trends and a passion for creating memorable gifting experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
l Gifting Strategy: Develop and implement gifting strategies and programs that align with company goals and market trends. Identify opportunities to leverage gifting as a tool for brand promotion and customer loyalty.
l Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to design and curate attractive gift sets and promotional items that appeal to various customer segments and occasions.
l Vendor Management: Source and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors for packaging, products, and other gifting components. Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
l Distributor Management : Appointment of new distributors and managing sales with them.
l Campaign Management: Plan and execute gifting campaigns, including seasonal promotions, corporate gifts, and special events. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
l Budget Management: Develop and manage the gifting budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high quality and brand integrity.
l Customer Engagement: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to integrate gifting initiatives into broader marketing campaigns. Develop personalized gifting options to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
l Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform gifting strategies and product offerings.
l Reporting: Track and analyze the effectiveness of gifting programs. Prepare reports on key metrics such as sales performance, customer feedback, and return on investment.
Qualifications:
l Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, MBA. A relevant advanced degree is a plus.
l Experience: 2-3 years of experience in marketing, product management, or a related role, with a focus on gifting or promotional activities. Experience in the FMCG industry or with startups is advantageous.
Skills:
l Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities.
l Excellent project management and organizational skills.
l Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with design software is a plus.
l Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
l Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
