Sr. Engineer - Powercord Manufacturing

Role & responsibilities

• Prime responsibility would be to ensure smooth functioning of Production activities of new Powercord Project by Maintaining all compliances . Improve Production Capacity as per new Market Demand.
• Need to Train and Develop new Operators to run Power Cord Manufacturing Machineries.
• Review MIS reports / Statistical data periodically to make informed decisions in the best interest of the Organization.
• Ensure effective & efficient Team management while chalking out development plans for the team with a view to enhance member competencies and skill sets.
• Drive team members to benchmark against best practices and suggest/recommend innovative business practices which could be implemented within the Organization.
• Responsible to train the to use machinery effectively and resolve elementary level queries by themselves.
• To assist and guide in ISO documentations and ISO Audits & ensure adherence to QMS standards at all times.

Responsible for administering 5S activities in the department.

Lead and drive the team in identification, planning and implementation of innovative ideas/improvement techniques like Kaizen, just-in-time manufacturing, quality circles, 5s, re-engineering in order to reduce losses in terms of rejections, raw materials, production, breakdown etc.

• Ensure compliance to regulations and guidelines set by Government bodies and related laws

Promote and environment of safe working culture and ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines

Preferred candidate profile : Minimum Experience in the Field of Power Cord manufacturing 6 to 10 Years.
