Senior Engineer / Engineer - QA (Technical Regulation)

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing testing plan as per the IS/IECs of Wiring device.
• Ensure all tests are conducted on time and test reports are filed and stored neatly.
• Ensure all BIS related requirements towards our licence are met.
• Do Visualisation of current status and Gap
• Identify Gap-Do root cause analysis- share with concern members/departments and promote Countermeasures based on priority.
• Should have hands on experience of testing of products with 3 party national accredited laboratories
• Identify, audit, check periodically the compliance of our product with respect to BIS requirement.
• Support in Root cause analysis and defect regeneration in case major customer complaints.
• Liaison with BIS for routine work – Inclusions, new license, renewal, regular audits.
• Plan budget for procurement of new test equipments, maintenance of routine equipments.
• Liaison with vendors for new test equipments.
• Handling of online portal of manakonline.
• Ensure maintenance of all testing machines on time.
• Should have hand on experience of third party product certification activities.
• Responsible for calibration activity at factory level.
