Bim Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Architect with 6+ years of experience to lead the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for architectural design and construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing BIM models, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams, and driving efficiency in design and construction workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• BIM Modeling and Design: Develop and maintain 3D building models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD, BIM 360) to represent architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and construction managers, to integrate various design elements into a unified BIM model.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate the design and documentation process, ensuring that the BIM models are up-to-date, accurate, and reflect all necessary revisions.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular model checks for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to project standards and specifications.
• Clash Detection: Identify and resolve clashes or conflicts in the design before construction begins using BIM clash detection tools, ensuring smoother project execution.
• Workflow Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency in design, construction, and operations through the use of BIM technologies.
• Documentation: Create and manage digital documentation for all phases of the project, including design drawings, construction schedules, and project reports.
• Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to ensure the design and BIM model meet their needs and expectations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's/Masters degree in Architecture or related field
• 6+ years of experience in BIM modelling and coordination in architectural projects.
• 3+ years of experience in international client handling.
• BIM Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of BIM software, especially Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other related tools.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with building systems, construction documentation, and design standards.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve design and technical issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
