Job Description

  • We are seeking a Senior SCAN to BIM Modeller with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the GIS field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling projects end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and quality in converting scan data to BIM models.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage Scan to BIM projects, taking ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery.
    Data Processing: Process and register point cloud data from various scanning devices.
  • BIM Modeling: Create accurate and detailed BIM models from point cloud data, adhering to project specifications and BIM standards.
  • Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of BIM models.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to clarify requirements and address any issues.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve challenges related to Scan to BIM workflows.
  • Software Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in relevant BIM software (e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD, Navisworks) and point cloud processing software (e.g., ReCap, Cyclone).
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Scan to BIM technologies, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior modelers, sharing your expertise and best practices.
