Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities :

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the targets for the assigned area.
• Conduct market research to understand the demand, competition, and opportunities in the spices segment.
• Plan and execute promotional activities and marketing campaigns to boost product visibility and sales.
• Monitor sales performance regularly and take corrective actions to improve the sales numbers.

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Officers and Sales Executives.
• Set performance goals for the sales team and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Provide guidance, support, and motivation to the team to maximize productivity.

• Identify and appoint new distributors, dealers, and retailers to expand the distribution network.
• Build strong relationships with existing distributors to ensure efficient distribution and product availability.
• Monitor distributor performance, stock levels, and order placements.
• Ensure proper implementation of trade schemes, offers, and discounts.
• Conduct regular product training sessions for the team and channel partners.

• Ensure effective implementation of sales promotions, schemes, and merchandising activities in the assigned area.
• Oversee product displays, shelf placements, and point-of-sale materials to enhance brand visibility.
• Coordinate with the marketing team for in-store promotions and product launches.
