Business Head - Specialty Chemicals

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Head with over 10 years of experience in the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing business operations, driving revenue growth, and leading cross-functional teams. This role requires someone who understands the complexities of the chemical industry, can navigate market trends, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement long-term business strategies and objectives to drive growth and profitability.
• Lead the P&L for the business unit and manage the overall financial performance.
• Work closely with senior leadership to align business strategies with corporate goals.

Market Analysis & Growth:

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
• Oversee market expansion efforts, both domestically and internationally, to increase market share.
• Develop and execute strategies for new product development, pricing, and positioning in the market.

Operations & Supply Chain Management:

• Ensure operational excellence in production, procurement, and distribution processes.
• Lead initiatives to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
• Oversee safety and compliance regulations in the manufacturing and distribution processes.

Sales & Marketing:

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor the sales and marketing teams to improve customer engagement and satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across multiple functions.
• Drive organizational culture and values, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Create a work environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Financial Management:

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the business unit.
• Manage cost optimization and profitability improvement projects.

Innovation & Sustainability:

• Drive innovation in product development, sustainability, and process optimization within the chemical industry.
• Lead sustainability initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of operations and products.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards.

• Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the chemical industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record of managing large teams and driving business growth.
• Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing, supply chain, and operational processes.
