About the job:
Responsibilities:
- Determine internal audit scope & prepare annual audit plans
- Perform and conduct full audit cycle (including processes, risk areas & compliances)
Conduct internal audits:
- Plan and execute internal audit engagements.
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, processes and procedures, scope for improvement.
Risk assessment:
- Identify the existing & potential risk in any process or procedure of support and operations department.
- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized audit documentation.
- Ensure that all audit workpapers are accurate & complete.
- Record all the audit findings and document those in a designed manner.
- Prepare and present the audit reports that reflect audit's result and suggested improvement ideas /steps.
- Conduct follow-up audits to monitor the progress on management's interventions.
- Engage for continuous learning regarding relevant rules, regulations, best practices, tools & techniques.
Requirements and skills:
- Good in computer skills on MS office to prepare report and presentation purpose
- Good analytical skills & attention to detail
- Good understanding of internal control concepts and risk assessment
- Must have conducted the process audits
- Exposure to compliance will be added advantage
