Global Project Leader

Global Project Leader : Global Project Leader is an integral member of the Glass Reinforcements (GR) Strategy Team and is responsible for developing and maintaining the management systems used to drive innovation. The primary goal of this role is to drive the strategic direction and execution of the organizations innovation portfolio. The role is responsible for leading project review boards, working closely with senior leaders to allow project progress evaluation, resource allocation, and enabling critical decision making to keep projects on track.

The role requires strong cross-functional business partnership with plant operations, supply chain, finance, product and commercial teams. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong project management skills to hold teams accountable.

Qualification : Bachelors degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.

Experience :

• 8-10 years of project management experience or similar role.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certification.
• Experience working across functional, regional, and business boundaries in in a matrix environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Innovation Leadership (+$XXX MM Portfolio)

• Strategic Planning and Execution: Development & implementation of project plans ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage the budget across all projects ensuring financial targets are met and established accountability for project performance.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, (Sr leadership, clients, and teams) to communicate progress, address concerns, and ensure alignment strategic objectives.

Project Management Tools and Training

• Software Deployment and Integration: Oversee rollout of Velocity across the organization, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
• Training and Support: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for employees, provide ongoing support and address user concerns or issues.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor the software’s performance and user adoption rates, gathering feedback to make necessary adjustments and improvements .

Project Review Board (PRB) Leadership

• Project Evaluation and Monitoring: Regularly assess project progress through the PRB process against established milestones and objectives, ensuring that projects are on track.
• Resource Allocation and Optimization: Work with senior leaders to review and allocate necessary resources, (budget, personnel, materials, etc) to ensure projects have what they need to succeed while optimizing resource use across the portfolio.
• Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Facilitate clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, resource needs, and any required adjustments to keep projects aligned with strategic goals.

Project Leadership (Consultation and Execution)

• Project Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategic project plans for critical projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and addressing key project requirements and risks.
• Leadership and Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to ensure successful project execution and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor project performance, track key metrics, and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely identification of any issues or necessary adjustments. Consult other project managers on how to most effectively run projects to completion.Role & responsibilities
