Job Description:

Sr Manager, Accounts leads accounting for the Composites business, supporting financial objectives by developing systems for collecting, verifying, analyzing, and reporting financial data. Reporting to the India Finance Leader, this role is accountable for driving results in mainline and downstream businesses.

Responsibilities:

Systems & Organization:

- Develops accounting strategies through financial analysis and recommendations.

- Establishes operational strategies by evaluating trends and implementing changes.

- Leads contingency planning and productivity improvements .

Accounting Processes & Statutory Compliance:

- Develops and maintains accurate financial statements and reports per GAAP.

- Ensures secure storage of financial information per legislation.

- Monitors monthly closing processes with the accounting team.

Financial Controls & Reporting:

- Ensures effective internal controls, data integrity, and compliance with GAAP and SOX.

- Monitors financial status by reviewing revenue, expenses, and data.

Cross-functional Leadership & Team Contribution:

- Guides departments by interpreting accounting policies and applying recommendations.

- Communicates results effectively to management and non-financial personnel.

Leading & Developing Talent:

- Develops talent through performance management and evaluation systems.

- Educates non-financial leaders on key finance principles.
