Strategy Consultant - Agriculture Sector - Consulting Firm - Contractual (6-12 yrs)

Our client, a non-profit foundation led by former senior partners from leading global consulting firms (MBB), is engaged in large-scale transformation projects with various state governments in India. Currently, they are focused on driving significant, impactful change within the agricultural sector.

To support this initiative, the client is seeking strategy consultants with deep expertise in agriculture to support their strategic initiatives aimed at modernising agricultural practices and promoting sustainable development.

Key responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing agricultural practices, market trends, and relevant government policies

- Identify and recommend opportunities for modernisation, including the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and sustainable farming techniques

- Lead or support the design, development, and execution of key agricultural transformation initiatives

- Monitor and track the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and delivery of results that align with overall project goals

- Collaborate closely with government officials, policymakers, and agricultural experts to build alignment on project objectives, ensuring smooth execution

- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate insights, recommendations, and progress to a variety of stakeholders, including government bodies, industry professionals, and community leaders

Your background:

- 6 to 12 years of experience as a strategy consultant, with a proven track record of driving large-scale agricultural transformation

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends, government policies, and agricultural practices

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with government officials and industry leaders

This opportunity will be on an initial 6-month contract. The consultant will be required to be based in Lucknow for the entire duration of the project.
