Tech Head

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. IT Maintenance

• Oversee the installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.
• Supervise network backup operations.
• Develop and maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment.
• Monitor and ensure that requests received via the IT helpdesk are promptly addressed with efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement IT policies and procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized access.
• Document IT support issues and their resolutions for future reference.
• Test, evaluate, and make decisions about new technology for the business.

2. Broadcasting Support

• Oversee the daily operations of all broadcast technology and systems, ensuring uninterrupted transmission and high-quality output.
• Coordinate the operation of studio and field equipment for live broadcasts and recorded programming.
• Provide technical support to resolve issues affecting broadcasting, both in-studio and during remote broadcasts.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems with broadcast equipment, IT systems, and signal transmission.

3. Talent Learning and Development

• Develop and implement training programs that address identified needs, covering both technical skills and soft skills.
• Support team members in pursuing industry-recognized certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Establish mentorship programs where experienced team members guide and support less experienced colleagues.
• Collaborate with team members to create individual development plans outlining specific learning goals and career aspirations.

4. Innovation and Technological Development

• Continuously assess new technologies and tools to determine their potential impact on the organizations operations and competitiveness.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
• Collaborate with technology vendors, research institutions, and industry partners to explore innovative solutions.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

• B.Tech in Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication,or relevant fields.

Domain Expertise:

• Broadcasting and IT Support:
  
• Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems with troubleshooting capabilities for a wide variety of IT issues.
• In-depth knowledge of broadcast systems, signal processing, transmission equipment, and video/audio production technologies.
• Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, storage solutions, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with broadcast automation software, content management systems, and industry-specific tools.

• Innovation and Upgrades:
  
• Proficiency in planning and executing technology upgrades and integrating new technologies into existing systems.
• Staying current with technological advancements and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Experience with broadcast automation systems like ENPS, Dalet, or iNews.
