The SAP IBP Production Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and optimal operation of the SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solution. This involves troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents, supporting users, and contributing to continuous improvement of the IBP system.
Key Responsibilities:
Incident Management:
Monitor system health, proactively identify potential issues.
Provide first and second-level support to IBP end-users, resolving incidents within defined SLAs.
Troubleshoot and resolve application errors, data inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
Escalate complex issues to third-level support or SAP when necessary.
Document incident resolution steps and maintain a knowledge base.
User Support:
Assist users with questions and requests related to IBP functionality.
Provide guidance on best practices for using IBP.
Conduct user training sessions on new features or system updates.
System Monitoring Maintenance:
Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.
Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks.
Support system upgrades and patches.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify recurring issues and propose solutions to prevent them.
Contribute to the development of new tools and processes to enhance IBP support.
Stay up-to-date on the latest IBP features and functionalities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other IT teams, functional teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance), and external partners.
Participate in project implementations and provide support during go-live and post-go-live phases.
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in supporting SAP applications, with at least 1 year specifically focused on IBP.
Strong understanding of IBP modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory, SOP).
Knowledge of SAP IBP key figures, planning areas, and attributes.
Experience with IBP data integration (CPI-DS).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
SAP IBP certification.
Experience with SAP Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
