Product Development and application Engineer

Works as technical expert to support sales team in total solution offer to customers (product and application development) and fulfils technical solution delivery that meet customer's needs. Fulfils and delivers expertise in relevant technical product and application solution to customers.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for over all product management of Brush, Polishing, Finishing etc.
• Clear understanding of manufacturing process in Steel industry.
• Should be able to read and understand customer product drawing and coordinating with Design team.
• Develop product as per the customer sample and demand.
• Performing trail of newly developed product at customer site.
• Develop new product and application for Brush and Polishing products.
• To provide technical support to sales team in the region.
• Responsible for product trail and evaluations.
• Responsible for product development, suggestions & complaint resolution.
• Responsible for process improvement, in-house trials
• To provide training to sales team & dealers
• To collect market information about the machines/projects coming up in assigned territory

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate having 3-5 years of experience in product and application development in Engineering industry.
• Candidate with B Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Candidate from Steel rolling / Cutting tool industry will be preferred
