Sustainability Manager

Responsibility and Mandate :

- Evaluate and recommend sustainability projects, considering factors such as, cost effectiveness, technical feasibility, and integration with other initiatives.

- Closely monitor execution of all key sustainability initiatives through governance model & reporting.

- Support local teams/departments in assessing their performance and building their improvement strategy

- Complete ownership of all the budgets related to Sustainability initiatives.

- Ensure statutory / regulatory compliance around all sustainability initiatives.

- Perform assessments and analyses on sustainable practices throughout the value chain and propose solutions and strategies to improve and develop them

- Implement Scope 3 agenda in the organization

- Responsible for educating employees on the sustainability through regular activities, newsletter and various other channels

Education :

- Master's degree in Management or MBA

- 3 to 5 years of work experience in Sustainability

Experience :

- Experience of 3 to 5 years in the relevant area/industry

- Sound understanding of Sustainability.

- Good understanding of the environment and ability to deal with complexity and crisis management. Strong understanding of National and International Sustainability Standards

- Experience in Sustainable Supply Chain and Scope 3 implementation is an added advantage

- Influencing ability (Within/Outside the organization)
