Job Description
Project: Chennai Metro Rail Phase 2 Project - Corridor 4 and part of Corridor-3&5
Location: Chennai, Nandanam
Requirement:
- Minimum Master s degree in Structural Design from a recognized University.
- The candidate shall have minimum 5 years post qualification experience in similar fields (Structure Design of UG Metros)
- Professional experience must include 2 years of working experience in Metro/Railways/ LRT Project with UG Metro experience only in consultancy
Functional Role:
- Report to Structural Design Expert/As per instruction of Team Leader.
- Review of design and drawing submitted by the Contractor.
- Attending design review meeting and other discussions related to your assignment.
- Assistance in Preparation of Design Basis and other related reports.
- Assistance in Resolving issues with Contractors, subcontractors related to design works.
- Visiting the sites as and when required for design related issues.
- Preparing technical reports and site dairy.
- Attending the meetings and interface management among the various contractors.
- Assistance in dealing with letters, Variations claims etc. submitted by the Contractors related to your assignment.
- Assistance in preparation of tender documents and other associated works.
- Assistance in Review and approve the DDC s working drawings, shop drawings and drawings for temporary works.
