Structure Engineer

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the safety and stability of structures, such as buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects
• The Structural Engineer will collaborate with architects, construction teams, and other engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality projects that meet industry standards and regulations

Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze structures to ensure they can withstand external forces and meet safety standards
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations using engineering software and tools
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams to integrate structural designs into overall project plans
• Review and approve construction plans to ensure they adhere to established design principles and safety regulations
• Conduct site visits to assess the progress of construction and address any structural concerns that may arise
• Perform simulations and tests to determine the structural integrity of materials and components
• Evaluate the environmental impact of structures and propose solutions for sustainable design
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to structural engineering
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and drafters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer in a similar role
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (eg, SAP2000, ETABS) and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, building codes, and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
