Senior Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage and oversee the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to handle complex financial operations. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and overseeing payments and invoice processing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
   
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
2. General Accounting
   
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper reconciliation.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Handle payroll processing and related compliance activities.
3. Payments & Invoicing
   
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
• Manage the generation, verification, and recording of invoices.
• Reconcile payment records with bank statements and accounting systems.
• Resolve payment and invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
4. Budgeting & Forecasting
   
• Assist in creating and monitoring budgets.
• Provide financial forecasts to aid in strategic planning.
5. Taxation & Compliance
   
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns.
• Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities.
6. Team Supervision & Coordination
   
• Guide junior accounting staff in day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments for financial clarity and operational efficiency.
7. Process Improvements
   
• Suggest and implement improvements to financial systems and processes.
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in managing payments and invoice processing.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in managing a team.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems.
• Certification (e.g., CA/CPA) is a plus.
