Procurement Engineer - Solar EPC - Navi Mumbai

Job Summary:

The Procurement Engineer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials and equipment for solar power projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials for solar projects (solar panels, inverters, cables, etc.).
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure best prices, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Maintain procurement records and prepare regular reports.
• Address procurement-related issues and risks proactively to avoid project delays.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.).
• 2-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and SAP.
