Senior Developer - Java/Apache Flink (6-8 yrs)

We are seeking a Seasoned JAVA + Apache Flink Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java development and a strong background in Apache Flink, including working with Stream, Batch, and Table APIs. The role requires proficiency in modern technologies like MongoDB, Kafka/Redpanda, Kubernetes, and Azure-based containerization.

This is a remote position with a standard Indian day shift schedule, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects over a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities :

Flink Development :

- Design, implement, and optimize streaming and batch processing pipelines using Apache Flink.

- Work with Flink APIs, including Stream, Batch, and Table, to process and analyze large-scale data.

Java Development :

- Write clean, scalable, and high-performance Java code for backend systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Java-based solutions with Flink.

Database Management :

- Work with MongoDB for data storage, retrieval, and processing tasks.

- Optimize database interactions for performance and scalability.

Message Streaming Platforms :

- Implement and maintain real-time data pipelines using Kafka or Redpanda.

- Ensure reliable and scalable message streaming solutions.

Containerization and Cloud :

- Develop, deploy, and manage containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Leverage Azure resources to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.

Collaboration and Problem Solving :

- Work closely with DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.

Qualifications and Experience :

Required Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in Java development with at least 2 years of experience in Apache Flink.

- Strong expertise with Stream, Batch, and Table APIs in Flink.

- Hands-on experience with MongoDB for database management.

- Proficiency in Kafka or Redpanda for real-time messaging and data streaming.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes on Azure Cloud.

- Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalable application development.

Desired Skills :

- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
